Summary
This story follows Yitzy, a boy who initially judges a new classmate, Yaakov Kehos, based on his unusual clothing and name. After discovering Yaakov's positive qualities, Yitzy learns from his rebbi that the Torah warns even wise judges not to judge by appearances, teaching us to look for the good in every Jew rather than focusing on external differences.
